Renew360 is a government-authorized e-waste recycler and buyback service for used electronics.

We collect the following information to provide our buyback and pickup service:

Contact and account information — your name, phone number, and email address, collected when you sign up or request a quote. To sign in to the app, you verify your mobile number using a one-time password (OTP).

Pickup address — your address, so we can schedule and complete a free doorstep pickup of your device.

Location information — we collect precise or approximate location to help schedule pickups accurately and route our pickup executives to you.

Device and verification photos — photos of the device you are selling and, where applicable, its original bill/invoice, which you upload so we can verify the device’s condition and confirm ownership before finalizing your quote.

Device details — information you provide about the device (brand, model, storage/variant, and condition answers) to generate your price quote.

We do not collect any payment or banking information through the app. Payment for devices we buy is handled offline, in person, by our pickup executive at the time of pickup.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

• Verify your identity and authenticate you when you sign in
• Generate an accurate price quote for your device
• Schedule and carry out doorstep pickup of your device
• Verify the device and its ownership before payment
• Communicate with you about your request (confirmations, updates, support)
• Improve and maintain our Services

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide our Services, including with:

• Pickup and logistics partners, so they can collect your device from your address
• SMS/OTP and authentication service providers, to verify your mobile number when you sign in
• Cloud hosting and IT service providers, who store and process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Renew360, our users, or the public.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our Services and meet legal and regulatory obligations.

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@renew360.in. We will delete your data within 7 days of receiving a verified request, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@renew360.in and we will remove it.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
